@nandoni.lump.char: Charcoal Kiln Build (Part 1): Cutting Doors & Frame Fabrication. Welcome to Part 1 of our charcoal kiln build!l. In this video, we kick off the build by laying down the foundation of the unit: cutting out the main access doors on our heavy-duty steel cylinders and fabricating solid, heat-resistant door frames from scratch. Getting a tight seal and structurally sound frame is essential for controlling airflow during the pyrolysis process so precision cutting and clean welds are the name of the game here. What We Cover in Part 1: Prepping & Marking the Steel Cylinders: Layout and measuring for clean door placement. Cutting the Access Doors: Slicing through heavy-gauge steel using the angle grinder. Fabricating the Door Frames: Measuring, mitering, and fitting angle iron frames. Welding & Tacking: Tack welding for fitment, thermal warp control, and laying down final solid beads.First Fit Check: Testing the cutouts against the new frames. #FarmEquipment #Biochar #SustainableEnergy #CharcoalProduction #environmentallyfriendly
