They would start earning money as soon as you start buying albums/merch! HYBE is one of the only companies that debut artists without trainee debt. Whatever contracts groups had with companies prior to be acquired by HYBE is not on them.

Fromis wasn’t with Pledis for 8 years. Pledis work with their former company their contract was still under limbo when they transfer to Pledis under HYBE. Pledis took them in.
