I know it’s a valuable antibiotic but cipro scares the hell out of me every time I’ve taken it for a diverticulitis. Beyond the immediate dangers I exercise daily and have to worry for months afterwards that one of my tendons is going to snap randomly one day.

I was put on rinvoq for Crohn’s last year. A new Jax inhibitor. Supposed to be a “cure all” for Crohn’s. I got a GI bleed a month and a half later. I mentioned to the doctor at the ER starting Rinvoq and asking if it was a possible cause. They said no, not likely. Found out it has a black box label for this…

Vioxx was a miracle drug. it was the only non-narcotic that stopped my pain, and gave me my life back. I took it in my 20s, but it was removed from the market due to the deaths in older folks. Probably for the best, as I am in the at-risk age now. 😅
