@roamingwithpointers: Sad you can’t visit the Gorge Trail at Watkins Glen State Park with your dog?⁣ ⁣ …try this trail instead 💦🐾🪨⁣ ⁣ 📍 Robert Treman State Park Gorge Trail⁣ 🚗 Lucifer Falls Parking, 129 Upper Park Rd, Newfield NY 14867 (10$ parking fee collected April - November, or free with the Empire State pass)⁣ 🥾2 miles or combine with Tim trail for closer to 4.5 miles⁣ 🪨 Moderate due to lots of stairs and slippery footing. Please follow all trail signs. Swimming is not allowed!⁣ ⁣ (You can also park at the lower lot and hike it in reverse)⁣ ⁣ This trail winds past 12 gorgeous waterfalls, including the 115ft Lucifer Falls with beautiful views of the Enfield Creek and Gorge⁣ ⁣ ‼️ It is a dog-friendly trail, but it can get very busy and I would not recommend it for reactive dogs as the trail is narrow and you have to pass people and dogs in close proximity.
