All jobs in Hawaii are hard to get UNLESS you know someone. Many places won’t even give you a chance or consider you unless someone steps up and says something like oh I went school with that guy, my neighbor my nephew my friend… on and on. Many places would rather go without the employees they need just because no one spoke up for you. They’d rather hire someone that knows… even if they are horrible at the job and with no work ethic and no job skills. Knowing someone is king here. And you can tell by the quality of work.
