Actually, one of the big things is taking oral Prometrium which is metabolised by the liver in many people causes high insulin. It’s an artificial high because it’s only because you’re on promethium and metabolising it through the liver I’ve taken orally and that makes it difficult to lose weight.

I started a low dose GLP1 about 6 months before HRT and it seems to have helped so much with my inflammation and joint pain. Other perimenopause symptoms improved as well. Now after 4 weeks on .025 estradiol patch and 100mg progesterone, I feel so much better! I’m so grateful to have these options during this season of life. I was really struggling. Now if I could just get someone to take my lifelong inattentive ADHD seriously, I’d be my best self, haha
