Egg freezing is not the same as embryo, freezing and people need to stop mixing that up. Eggs do not fare as well as embryos in the thaw process

It’s called freezing embryos. I have two boys from frozen embryos that I stored with my fiancé when I was 28 because I had chemotherapy. We were told frozen embryos almost always work and are better than frozen eggs

So glad I had mine son at 21… when he was 20, he has his own life, moved out. & there was me at 41- doing my own thing, travelling with friends. I can’t imagine having a baby at a later age.

I had my first baby at 41, I’m now 45 and pregnant with my second child 🫶🏻 Infertility should be taught to young women, they focus too much about how not to get pregnant at school but don’t talk about the struggles of fertility.

They retrieved 36 of my eggs. Then only 22 were mature. Then only 15 fertilized, then only 9 were healthy enough for testing. Then of those only 4 were normal. So this is very true. Freezing is JUST the beginning. The good news is it only takes one and we got our baby in the end🩷
