in my experience they always do but it won’t ever be the same and they’re just there cause they know that you will not only forgive them but to also let them back in thinking that they’ve changed again just to leave you broken once again it happened twice and now that he left me again, my heart became stronger to the point where I can’t ever forgive or let him back in my life and ruin my progress of healing and my happiness

You don’t “survive” there will always be a broken plate in the cabinet but that’s okay. You learn to adapt and relearn life without that plate. It’s been 6 months no contact and I’ve cried and cried about my broken plate. One day I decided to throw it away. Did it hurt? Sure I had that plate for 11 years but it didn’t serve a purpose to me. If that plate finds its way to my table I won’t be able to look at it the same. Point I’m trying to make is. Don’t wait for your broken plate to come back to you. Enjoy your life . Fly so high nobody can touch you
