That's so dumb. If you reach distribution plateau -and beyond, there won't be need for VC money. At that stage, banks credit lines will easily replace institutional vulture funding

Distribution absolutely matters, especially now that software is cheaper and faster to build. But “1% product, 99% distribution” feels like TikTok startup math. 😂 You can have incredible distribution and still lose if the product doesn’t solve a real problem, retain users, or create value competitors can’t easily replicate. Easier software development raises the bar for founders. It doesn’t make the product irrelevant.

CISO or CSO to a vibe coder - is a customer data isolated in a dedicated environment, or is it multi-tenant & where will our data be hosted geographically, and who owns it. Vibe coder response “let me ask AI” which is why VCs invest in the founder/founders first because what I just mentioned is 101 in the software world and as a Sr. Security Architect I learned this type of information in high school but a vibe coder cannot answer basic software questions and no VC or customer wants to deal with that type of founder.
