The pinecone-shaped blooms start out green and eventually turn red, filling with a clear, fragrant gel-like liquid. You can gently squeeze the mature cones and collect the liquid right from the plant! It’s traditionally been used as a natural hair and scalp treatment because the liquid can be worked through the hair almost like a lightweight conditioner. It helps moisturize, soften, add shine, and leaves your hair smelling SO fresh. 🌿✨ You can use it as a rinse or leave a small amount in your hair just patch-test first if you have sensitive skin or scalp.
