Birds possess a bone called carpometacarpus, which is what allows them to fold up their wings; tyrannosaurus rex lacks this bone, and so do some flightless birds. Additionally, the upper part of the humerous would have to socket in a more elevated position while connected to a keeled sternum, (something particularly found in flying animals) and many other parts would have to be modified in order for tyrannosaurus rex to even achieve flight. Not to mention, they lack the attachment points for a long structure to support a wing. They did not have bat wings either because bats are mammals, whilst tyrannosaurus rex is a reptile more closely related to birds. Tyrannosaurus rex already had two fully functional hands with independent mobile fingers and large claws attached, not to mention they could lift up to 460 pounds so drawing to the conclusion they had wings just illustrates lack of education. The reason for their small arms, which "may not make sense," is because early tyrannosaurs had large, grasping arms utilized in catching their prey, but overtime they began to use their jaws in prey catching, so their head grew larger as a result. To compensate, their arms began to shrink, which is what cultivated species like tyrannosaurus rex; a large head balanced by a heavy tail.

No… just no… Trex’s tiny arms were an evolutionary trade-off because they used their head and jaws did most of the job for hunting, Just like how whales and dolphins evolved to lose their legs to go back to land, that is called Evolutionary trade-off

OK, let’s think about it so an animal that is a domesticated chicken their ancestors used to fly of course they’re gonna have wings. Tyrannosaurus rex is a 2 ton reptile that did not have feathers. We know this because of skin and printing from their arms. Also if you’re thinking about it in a way like they didn’t fly with their wings, maybe when they were babies, they could have feathers like that but at the same time they just didn’t have feathers and feathers are the reasons that their wings would spread out farther so no Tyrannosaurus rex had no version of wings.

Even if they had wings, they wouldn’t be dragons dragons have four legs and two wings. There are other names for other things.

we achualy do believe they had wings we also think they were feathered not scaled. once we disproved bone wrapped our though of what many dinosaurs looked like changed a better depicted of the trex would be this immage
