@theplatformza: Absa partnering with EasyEquities is more than just adding an investing feature to a banking app. It’s a distribution strategy. Absa already has millions of customers. EasyEquities has an established investment platform. Put the two together and you potentially make investing more accessible without asking the customer to leave the Absa ecosystem. And that’s the business lesson: You don’t always have to build everything yourself. Sometimes the smarter growth strategy is to partner with a business that already has the technology, capability or customer base you need. The real question is: what does each business gain from the partnership? 👀 #BusinessStrategy #Partnerships #Absa #EasyEquities #SouthAfricanBusiness

Hi. Is it safe to go for it through the Absa app though ?? Like won't they want to benefit interest from the clients?

I get it from a business model but not so from a “client perspective” the client is being sold to EE as the commodity, either way both make money due to “the book on hand” but not seeing the value add for the client “ the commodity” but that’s just my opinion 😏
