the problem is we will still need data centres even with out AI, we need to focus on making sure there is things in place to make sure they are sustainable when they are built.

The temp in London 38.1 at Kew Gardens today. The Labour government have pushed ahead with granting a data centre in Brick Lane, knowing that data centres raise local temp from 3-9c. When the water infrastructure is on the brink of collapse, and there is a hose pipe ban! How will this help local people?

No. that's done it for me actually. this is my last year in London. I am so angry that they haven't focused on Internet connection in deprived areas up north, but are focused on things accelerating climate change. there is going to be food shortages soon and hopefully some people will realise you can't eat AI.

"we need data centers" regular data centers are so much smaller. those to process ai are sooo much bigger and pollute sooo much more

Why don't they build the data centers in Richmond, Wimbledon, Highbury, Blackheath, St John's Wood etc?

for every job AI takes we should tax that company more than you would if it was a human. that way it will cost them more to replace us. but we know that won't happen 😕 😅

Since the pandemic everything has turned into making humans lives more difficult. Since I’ve heard about Uber’s go ahead with robotaxis, it looks like our roads, energy, resources and lives have been handed in a gold plate to billionaires.

Work keeps us busy and distracted. We need to move strategically. Our 10-15 minute's regular activity per day, could make significant difference. Let's reunite.
