This does happen. Started off brand new in healthcare my no sabo butt told a patient with an injured leg “le vamos a traer unas croquetas” all confident thinking I was saying crutches correctly. Came back with the crutches and he saw them and said “aahhh mulletas! Pos dije que soy perro o que” 😭

That the younger generation. My daughter understands it but can’t talk it. However her 10yr old daughter is fluent in both languages & helps mom interpret. 😂
