With AFC Wimbledon, they just can’t reasonably go any higher in the football pyramid with the financial model we’ve got. Every single signing is a free or a loan, and this can’t patch up the holes left in our squad by selling our best players to make up the money we need to continue running without any single significant investors. Hopefully the new 50+1 rule our members agreed to recently will allow some more money to flow in but yeah we’re just stuck in League 1 relegation / League 2 promotion purgatory right now.
