People who are saying it's not a serious issue, they just don't get it. He could have literally write at least like shitty vows, but it would have been his own writing. It would have come from his own heart, not from a fucking robot. I struggle with getting my words out and saying what I actually want, but I'm not gonna use fucking AI to say my vows to my partner. This is crazy.

imperfections make it authentic. to have perfectly written vows with no personality would ruin it for me too. you need to be able to see your partner in the vows they write. otherwise its not personal or heartfelt.

This is what ChatGPT has to say. I think it depends entirely on **how he used ChatGPT**. If he typed “write wedding vows for my wife” and read whatever came out without putting any thought into it, I can understand why she'd be hurt. But if he told ChatGPT what he loves about her, shared memories, what their relationship means to him, and used it to help organize or polish what he wanted to say, I really don't see the problem. The thoughts and feelings are still his. People have always gotten help writing important things—from friends, family, books, templates, speechwriters, editors, even Google. Some people know exactly how they feel but aren't good at putting those feelings into words. The important question isn't **“Did you use ChatGPT?”** It's **“Were these actually your thoughts and feelings?”**

This is a major issue. Too many ppl rely on ai now. Vows are meant to come from the heart. If you need AI to help you with vows that’s just sad. If u really can’t write from your heart abt how u feel abt ur significant other that’s a red flag?? I’m on the side of the woman. She deserves a man that will say what’s on his heart not some robots words.
