For those wondering about the difference and why MLBB's Odette isn't receiving the same criticism, it's already been established that she's a mage who uses magic for both movement and combat, so her being able to dance, move around, and fight in heels doesn't really contradict her character. Her entire identity also isn't centered around being a ballerina. As far as I know, she's never even been explicitly stated to be one and is simply inspired by ballerina aesthetics. Meanwhile, Genshin's Odette is explicitly portrayed as a ballerina, making ballet a core part of her character and a direct representation of Russian ballet culture. In short, MLBB's Odette is inspired by ballerinas, while Genshin's Odette is intended to represent ballet and the culture associated with it, which is why people tend to judge the two designs by different standards.
