There is a funny story behind the filming of this one. I asked Mr. Betsy if I could come film this video at his place of business because I knew there was an unused office space. He said sure. I traipsed upstairs with my vintage dress, full face of makeup, victory rolls in hair, tripod, and two giant lights with big covers on them. I said hi to the other people that work with him on that floor and set up shop in the office. The others seemed oddly quiet. Please note- there was also a window that makes where I am totally visible to the people in the other side. They were in sort of a bull pen to borrow a term from @theoffice. Before I started filming I also awkwardly inspected a hat rack to see if it might be of use to me. After feeling up said hat rack and leaving it be, I shone my giant lights on myself, played this song, and had this pantomime conversation with an invisible person. I also proceeded to launch myself off the chair multiple times in various ways. I packed up, said thank you, and left. When Mr. Betsy got home I mentioned that everyone seemed a little awkward with me. He said yes, they were probably confused. I said “Did you tell them I was coming?” He said “No.” I began to panic and trepidation set it but I managed to ask “Did you tell them what I do? Do they know what I do on the internet?” Mr.Betsy “No”. Me”So they had no context to me coming into their space and doing a slapstick pantomime vaudllian comedy routine?!?” Mr Betsy [quiet chuckle] “nope”.
