Your last point is one of the things that frustrates me the most. This case has such a huge opportunity to bring light to the very real and tragic issue of postpartum psychosis but people insist on saying it had to be the husband. It’s extremely reductive of the severity of psychosis. Literally nobody benefits from trying to reassign blame.

I think one of the biggest changes in this country has been anti-intellectualism; folks don't trust or believe people who have YEARS of experience and education in any given field/profession or on any topic/subject. Absolute novices think they know better. It's really to the detriment of us all.

if it is truly PPD and PPP what tik tok and true crime fans a re doing are hurting women with those issues your making it harder for them. bc there is no evidence to show anyone else did it. if there was her lawyers would have been bringing it up unless you think her lawyers are unqualified to do there job. the tin foil hat theories only hurt women who are suffering from these mental illness from being believed. this is not a Karen read situation where her lawyers where actively trying to prove she didn't do it the whole trial. Lindseys lawyers are saying she did it because of mental illness.

It’s so frustrating that this case gave us the opportunity to really examine how women are treated in the healthcare space, especially postpartum, and ways standard of care could be improved but instead people have decided to center a man in the conversation. She was failed by the healthcare system, failed by the commonwealth, and now she’s being failed by the internet crime stoppers.

This case is so sad. I think people have a hard time believing psychosis can be this severe. I wish there was a way they could agree to something without a big case. I can’t imagine the torment the family is having to relive. She will be tormented no matter what the outcome why not let her get the mental help she needs.

It is so disturbing to me (as a chronically ill person who is admittedly on a lot of medications myself) the sheer number of psychotropic and sedative meds her providers prescribed to her. Her doctors were so negligent.
