@honestmyo: Instead of forcing your tongue up for a better jawline… train healthy oral resting posture. “Mewing” is not about pushing your tongue as hard as you can against the roof of your mouth. What you actually want is: - Tongue resting gently on the palate - Lips closed without straining - Teeth slightly apart - Comfortable nasal breathing - Jaw relaxed Yes, tongue position can change how the area under your chin looks. But the bigger goal is FUNCTION. Your resting posture is something your body practices for hours every day, so it can influence how you breathe, swallow, use your jaw, and hold your head and neck. The pat that social media often leaves out is: Not everyone can simply put their tongue up and leave it there. A narrow palate, tongue restriction, weakness, mouth breathing, nasal obstruction, or years of compensation can make that position difficult. That is why myo is not about forcing your tongue somewhere it does not want to stay. We figure out "why it is not already resting there," and work on the strength, mobility, breathing, and habits needed to make that position feel natural. The jawline? That just a nice bonus. 😉 But better function is the real goal. #OralPosture #MewingTechnique #TongueRestingPosition #HealthyBreathing #JawRelaxation
