No they were not. They were drowned in the flood of Noah. This is a mix-up of traditions. In the Bible, the Nephilim are linked to the time before Noah’s flood. And that whole episode is treated as ending with the flood. Some later traditions talk about spiritual influence carrying on, but not their physical presence at the crucifixion.Never says that anywhere.

Gen 6 does not teach that the angels mixed with women and created offspring... C'mon .. Angels are not flesh , like we are . They are Spirit Beings and CANNOTmix with women. Yahusha wasn't quoting Psalms. He didn't say "My god why have You forsaken Me." That wouldn't make sense since The Word Himself volunteer when YAHUAH asked 'whom shall we send', The Word said "here am I send Me." That would be going against His Word when He said "I will Never leave You nor Forsake You. The mis-translation happened when the Aramaic Yahusha and his disciples spoke was translated to Greek. What Yahusha actually said was "My God, My God for this I was sent,"or "for this reason I came." Confident that the Father was indeed with Him He said "INTO YOUR HANDS I COMMIT MY SPIRIT." Another piece of evidence is that the ones standing close enough to hear Him would have understood, but instead they thought He was calling for Elijah. However the ones that understood Aramaic after hearing what He actually said "TRULY THIS WAS THE SON OF GOD?" THIS IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE IF WE BELIEVE THAT The Father forsook His only Begotten, then it wouldn't be difficult to believe He can Forsake us too. This is where you grab on when you begin to waver and say "MY GOD IS WITH ME, WHETHER I SEE IT, FEEL IT DOESNT MATTER, BECAUSE I BELIEVE HE WILL NOT FORSAKE ME.
