A friend of mine from school won a competition and designed the box! It’s covered in Scottish folklore and landmarks and is black and white so the kid can colour it in?

Baby boxes and free female period products are the two of the greatest things that our wee country has introduced. Dignity and giving kids the best start possible in life makes me so proud to be a Scot. ❤️🏴

also there is a Scots baby box appeal. you can fill the box back up with clothes, toys etc you want to donate. and they will collect the box. they are easily stackable. and they often send containerships of them full to countries in need. it really is the gift that keeps on giving. go Scotland!

you should also apply for the scottish child payment once baby is here its £112 every four weeks for buying baby essentials you can also apply for child benefit which is £108 every four weeks again for baby essentials every househould is elegible to apply for these x

5 years on and I still regularly use the thermometer and the cellular blanket. the blanket I use when the kids aren't well because its big and keeps them cool instead of a thick blanket

Every baby needs an equal start in life especially those born in poverty. It helps out families and takes pressure off new parents who might not know about all if these items. The companies that donate to this scheme all get something out of it because there are always some who are interested in becoming customers can afford to buy more of the items they’re impressed with and the companies get free exposure of their products and direct acces to a market that can generate high revenue. Winner all round I’d say.
