Myeongdong area is great logistically but not the best vibes. It’s touristy and very busy. However, I found a few extraordinary places (my local barista recommended them) that I’m still thinking about including a hidden bar (up a lift, press a button on the side of a cupboard, mirror slides open, no signage). Very cool

My mom was here the last week of July and she chose the Migliore hotel, which has elevators down to Myeongdong Station. Would highly recommend. The rooms are pretty basic and not perfect, but it was clean, comfortable, and convenient for our plans.
