Do you not realize that mortgage backed securities are still, and will always be, a thing? The only issue was the subprime mortgages written, not the securitization of mortgages as an asset class.

It doesn’t sound like it really increases accessibility for gpu buyers cuz they can a loan from any bank. It’s just a specialized extra fund to try to cash in on the demand for these loans.

Most people don’t own 200-500k in AI stock. If the market collapsed for AI it’s not similar to the housing crisis collapse in 2008, it wouldn’t affect the average person. Just their 401k slightly.
