This is such a powerful reminder. ❤️Sometimes we spend so much of our lives trying to be everything to everyone that we forget that we also deserve a life that feels honest and peaceful to us. I’m learning that disappointing people does not automatically mean you have done something wrong. Sometimes choosing yourself, setting boundaries and saying “no” is necessary for your own well-being. You can love people, care about them deeply and still choose a different path for yourself. At some point, you have to stop living according to everyone else’s expectations and start asking yourself, “What kind of life do I actually want?” Because people-pleasing will have you exhausted, resentful and completely disconnected from yourself. Protect your peace. Choose yourself. And let people be disappointed if they have to be. You are still allowed to be a good person. ❤️✨

I'm at that stage now,there are some relationships I broke off recently that I didn't think I'll ever be able to buy them I just did it easily this time,then I sat and realized it was difficult before because I really cared and didn't want to let them go because I don't have that many people in my life but the moment I was done there was no going back

All my life I lived for others the children, the family it was always someone or something.. the children became adults. Everyone moved on… the person whom I admired the most my best friend, My soulmate passed away January 31 of this year and so now it is my turn to put myself first and do things that make me happy and be a positive person along with carrying this grief.
