@madscientistofmuscle: Wheelbarrow training 720 lbs... does require a bit of specialized equipment, clearly. Been awhile since I've pushed this thing around! This is awesome total body power and conditioning training. If you have an opportunity to train with a loadable wheelbarrow, it's a blast. I'd say it's comparable to about a 600 lb trap bar farmers walk in terms of loading (I weighed 173 lbs when I shot this). One advantage this has over farmers walks is that is has a wheel. This allows you to lean forward into the movement, which brings in the glutes and calves more. I didn't use any grip assistance for this so my grip was starting to fail and my hands were getting pretty shredded towards the end of this. I do these as intervals... going as far out as I can in one push. Turning around is brutal and then with a few short rest periods, went the rest of the way back. And yes, some of my neighbors get a little freaked out :) I finished the workout with a 1/3 of a mile push with 270 lbs. --------------- Got a muscle group or exercise that needs help?
