for whatever reason, Jess who's supposed to be like 16 or 17 in that episode, he says "I don't need a daddy!" It just sounds wierd; kind of thought that he would've said "dad" instead 🤷🏻♀️

my favourite thing in this episode is for a split second is jess’ dad’s house you could see a ziggy stardust record meaning that jimmy went home after he met jess at lukes and listened to the album again!! such a fun detail

I feel like the storyline / characters in Here Comes The Son aren't as cohesive/interesting to actually work as a backdoor episode... Like if they were holding back on the story, somehow? but I'd love to watch the complete unaired pilot! For this episode alone, it's not as captivating as it could be. It kinda pales in comparison to Gilmore Girls, unfortunately... but it could be easily as big as the OC, with the right twists (yes, I think Jess is an interesting enough character for that). anyhow I love that the Palladinos kept insisting on Sherylin Fenn
