my question is this, is it the duty of adopted child to do the paper work? is it not the person that went to adopt a child should do the necessary documentation and paper work. The Lord who adopted us through Jesus Christ should have done every necessary thing to adopt us to himself, there is a bargain in the cross of cavalry that brought about a new covenant which was sealed with the expensive blood of Jesus Christ, my understanding thou. I think the discussion should have been, reconciling with the Lord who is a new parent who adopted us by starting to obey Him and acknowledge him as our parent by serving him with all our strength in truth and spirit.
