@ifayinka08: ỌPẸLẸ 🌴 The Ifa divination chain is one of the main tools Babalawo/Awo use to "cast" and get verses from Ifa. Here are *4 tips for Ifa learners starting with Opele*: 1*Learn the basic structure first* - 'Opele' has 8 half-nuts/seeds on a chain. Each side that falls = either open or closed. That gives you 16 Odu Meji, and 256 Odu total. Don't rush to memorize verses. First master how to read which side is up vs down. 2. Practice your hand + invocation_ How you hold and cast matters. Your left hand holds, right hand casts. Start and end every session with: Baba mi, Erindínlógún..' and ask permission from Ifa + your Ori. 3. Master the 16 Odu Meji before the 256 _ Learn the names, sigils, and one key story/ese for each of the 16 major Odu 4. Write down every cast Keep an "Opele journal". Note: Date, Question, Odu that fell, Advice given, Outcome @Child of Ifa #trending
