I’d be telling all my colleagues about the cameras, sounds like anyone working there has the same grounds and I’m pretty sure they don’t want to fire everyone. That alone will keep their lawyers busy.

Anybody saying cameras are being put up for security concerns in a non-public space is actually completely bullshiting you. They are rarely useful in criminal investigations, and their deterrent effect doesn't exist if they're placed in a space not accessible to the public. Their goal is just to put you under surveillance 24/7.

Who in HR actually thought that was the best course of action? Was there a discussion in the office that went “Fire him/her. The payout from a single wrongful termination suit is gonna be way cheaper than the one from the class action from secretly recording all their conversations will be” 😂
