@marycolemannews: ICYMI: The Pima County Sheriffs Department says before 8 this morning, they responded to Sabino Canyon for a rescue. A family of three tried to cross a flooded bridge on bicycles. During the crossing, a 20-year-old woman fell from her bicycle and became trapped underwater. Family members and Good Samaritans began helping, but the woman remained underwater for multiple minutes. She was eventually pulled from the water and CPR was started until she regained consciousness. PCSD Deputies arrived to help her out of the drainage. Two people were taken to a local hospital and are reported to be stable. PCSD says this is a good reminder--"never attempt to cross flooded washes, whether on a bike, in a vehicle, or on foot. Fast‑moving water is extremely dangerous and puts you and first responders at risk." Note: the man filming is in his mid seventies, and his wife was with him who is not physically able to help- but called 911 immediately. He stopped filming because he did help rescue the girl’s father who was being sucked under after they managed to pull her out. #monsoon #tucson #news #fyp #weather
