The ketaconazole in Nizoral has been shown to reduce DHT in the scalp, which can contribute to hairloss, and help promote hair growth. I’ve been using it for a few years now and I definitely notice my hair is thicker!!

Nizoral can also help with hair loss by blocking DHT a little (but is very drying and 1x a week is enough)

Seb derm victim here. I used to stick with rx ketoconzale shampoo, but ended up alternating with a zinc shampoo due to the fungal zits I got on my scalp. Combined with a deep cleanse prior, and blow drying my scalp dry immediately after showering, this is the best my scalp has looked in my whole life!
