My kid was the same way and he had EOE. After it was resolved no vomiting and swallowing improved !!! Hope it helps .

We switched to a GJ tube and once that worked we had the tubes separated best decision ever! Feeds go though his j-tube and meds into the g-tube.

Could it be the formula? My son got very sick with formulas. We went through 5 different ones. Now I blend his food and it’s been a game changer. Also his vitamin and mineral deficiencies resolved after a year on blends.

My son just came home from the nicu with a Gtube… what’re we doing with the bag between feeds?! Everytime I run water thru the line there’s still formula residue so I’ve been doing the fridge method . Is there a gold standard? 🤣

If they don’t find anything on any imaging ask them about Cyproheptadine (idk if I’m spelling that right). My little man was puking 10-15 times a day and everything came back normal. We started Cyproheptadine last May and he’s puked 15 times total since (when he was sick). GOOD LUCK!! 🥰❤️

We ended up switching to a GJ tube due to the vomiting and the fact that my daughter’s formula would sit in her stomach for hours and not move along in a timely manner. She does have gastroparesis but once we switched to the GJ tube we haven’t had as much vomiting as we did before

Which formula are you guys on? We just switched to pediasure peptide and we are back with vomiting and spit ups. We just switched to gtube also had NG since birth girl we fighting for our lives! 😭 Me and you both hang tough 💙💛

We got this mama! My boy has a GTube and it’s been a life saver for not just him but me also! Better yet he’s a twin and his twin brother is gonna be walking any day now. It’s crazy over here 😩😂

My daughter is having the same problem! They tell its because of constipation. I am reading every comment and asking her GI. I'm glad I'm not the only one going through this. Hope everything works out for you guys 💞

Have you had his calcium checked? My g tube girl was throwing up constantly and losing weight when she was a baby and it was because she had hypercalcemia. Once they got the calcium down the vomiting stopped

That g-tube is a nice saver for my daughter, with all the meds she takes. No way she would swallow half of what we have to give her.

We are still struggling with spit up/throwing up feeds (GJ but mostly J fed - trying to get to only Gtube fed) and we recently go the go ahead to do home made blends for the g tube and we haven’t had any spit up in 2 days. Still new but her reflux has been amazing!

My daughter would vomit a lot. I was told ‘babies spit up’ and nobody really took me seriously. We got an Upper GI done and multiple pictures showed her stomach not emptying. We started a drug called erythromycin and she will vomit maybe 1 time a month now. Game changer.

Sending you love ! My son throw up everyday for years it was so rough !!! He finally stopped throwing up as much around 3 years. It is so tough. I hope they can help him !

Gtube helped lessen the vomit than when we had Ng tube. But it’s still a challenge, cus my baby Gags and chokes easily with her own saliva and that triggers a 🤮 too.
