Used to live down the Quayside and one evening there was chaos, people in the water, helicopter overhead, cops everywhere, ambulances, people in survival blankets, boats in the river trying to rescue people. Like a scene from a movie! I asked a copper what was going on and he just replied "It's the last night of The Boat". 🤣

I fell in there and had to be rescued by the port of tyne authority i wouldn't recommend its proper manky !! 😂😂
