It’s because of the chemical reaction between the sulfur and the silver. This happens all the time to me when I go to Pagosa Springs! Just use any silver shine cleaner or some toothpaste and buff it on and rub and rinse. And it’ll go back to silver ☺️

This is sooo dumb but tooth paste! Scrub them with tooth paste and let it sit for a bit it will help fix it! Quick & easy!

There is a way to transfer the tarnish to aluminum foil using baking soda and boiling water. Lookup how to reverse sulfur oxidation on silver jewelry and there should be multiple videos

They’ll be fine. They’ll turn back. Just keep wearing them, the oils from your skin will help. I live in Idaho and visit the hot springs all the time with silver rings on. 👍

Maybe baking soda paste? Or some of that silver cleaner you can get at like Lowe’s that comes in a can

it's pretty common for that to happen in hot springs, usually my silver jewelry will go back to normal after a few hours/showering and hand washing. is a super thin layer of oxidation so you don't need to be that aggressive with it

I had this issue too! I looked it up and there’s the baking soda and foil method where you like soak it in foil with baking soda and hot boiling water and it works so good! I would google the method to verify cause it’s been a minute but it worked for me!
