Oh Liz, I’m so sorry! I had two spinal headaches, one after my spinal for a c-section and one from a spinal tap. The one for the spinal tap was one off the most awful experiences ever, and I’ve had a brain hemorrhage, IC, and connective tissue disease I have no idea how you keep doing this but don’t stop. I’m sorry :( I 100000% understand the disappointment and devastation. However I’d really recommend not getting another patch so close to the original. The blood they put in hasn’t even been reabsorbed yet. Adding more will increase compression, which is really dangerous given the location of your leak. You risk arachnoiditis which can be a permanent complication. If you were a patient at Mayo Clinic right now, they wouldn’t allow you another patch for 6 weeks. I know your neuro means well but this is why it’s so important to see an expert. I know I’m just words on a screen to you right now, but I have been through this all and more. This is a bad idea. Please reconsider and get a second opinion from a leak center

My heart just aches for you. How long have you had this? My wife got the after our first child was born. She could not hold the baby for nine days. The one day she got to hold her when we got into the house was with me holding her with her at the hospital we would just lay her on her cause she couldn’t hold her head up to hold her. It lasted almost 2 months completely to recover.
