Apply the Gravitex * Spread the Gravitex evenly with a stainless-steel or suitable texture trowel. * Maintain a consistent thickness across the wall. 2. Allow it to settle briefly * Don’t start floating immediately. * Give the coating a short period to firm up slightly so the aggregates begin to hold their position. * The exact timing depends on weather, wall temperature and the product formulation. 3. Start floating * Use a clean plastic, rubber or suitable finishing float. * Hold the float relatively flat against the surface. * Move it in controlled circular, vertical or horizontal motions, depending on the design you want. 4. Don’t press too hard * Light, consistent pressure is important. * Excessive pressure can flatten the texture, pull out aggregates or create shiny patches. 5. Build the pattern gradually * For a swirl effect, use overlapping circular movements. * For a straight/linear effect, float in one consistent direction. * For a random stone-like texture, use short irregular movements while maintaining even pressure. 6. Keep your working edges wet * Work in manageable sections. * Avoid stopping in the middle of a wall because joining partially dried sections can create visible lines. 7.
