All retail policies should be changed! We know that profiling is alive and well. 1. Every single item in stores are insured. 2. Companies calculate shrinkage (theft) into their budgets. 3. There are cameras EVERYWHERE. Your car tag can be read, your face is scanned, your card is scanned before you even use it. The money in your hands can be seen, every denomination. These companies know who you are and can easily access where you live, file theft charges and send an arresting officer to your home. There is absolutely no need for any of this. My husband has worked in retail for over 50 years. He can dial in and see everything that’s going on from his computer. Innocent people are traumatized and a child is dead. SENSELESS!
