I’ve never tried this because I killed Ocelot when he was unconscious after rescuing Sokolov and learned it causes a time paradox so I never tried this. But since he’s in past games that happen chronologically after this title in the series it makes sense. He wouldn’t be there in The Phantom Pain to help Venom Snake, nor the other titles as an adversary, but it would make the Liquid Ocelot fight a lot easier in Guns of the Patriots even if that whole title wouldn’t have any depth for lack of an antagonist and main enemy. It is impressive, “you’re pretty good”, but also he helps you in this encounter.
