Genuine question 🙋🏼‍♀️I’m from Uk where all school supplies are provided by schools- until year 7. After that it’s only items for personal use- pens, calculator pencils case etc. we don’t get requests for classroom items like board markers or cleaning products. How do you get all of this to school? Do the kids take it all on their first day? Do parents have to drop it all off before start of term? 😳

This is crazy. In the UK, at primary school level, everything is supplied by the school except uniform, backpack and lunchboxes etc

in england we dont get a list of what we need we go with a pencil case and pe kit. and the council or school pays for paper crayons books cleaning supplies

My salarie as a 3rd year teacher is less than 35,000. We do NOT get paid enough to buy the supplies ourself. Our entire education system is broken. Not every teacher will use all the supplies. But it’s a general list for every school in the district… some of these comments 😭😭😭
