Okay, I FEEL some people will come at me for this take but: yea, BOTH lose. Aegon lost his siblings, his dragon, his poor boys in gruesome ways, the ability to walk, was burnt and scarred, barely ruled and was poisoned by his own allies. Rhaenyra ALSO lost, most of all, almost all her kids, her supporters, the city, her crown, the people, her relatives, her dragon, got betrayed and paranoid. That's all. "Oh but her line—" is a stupid take. She suffered the losses and died still, never seeing any of her kids grow up or rule, that's her character. And also there's no such thing as dying a Dragonrider's death. Her dragon was deceased by this point, she got cut and eaten alive by a sickly and wounded dragon of her nemesis, WHILE her last kid watched. Absolutely nothing glorious about. Both were doomed at the end.
