The one that begins in the fourth slide is terrible, it's what HR head would love people would do to make their jobs easier lol. Lie a lot, just lie convincingly, know enough about what you are lying about to be able to explain it and the practical aspect you learn in real time.

I get the job every time i have an interview and #1 key is showing confidence. I fortunately never had any trouble with public speaking/speaking in front of people so I always tend to give off the impression that I’m confident even if I don’t know most of the interview questions I just answer what comes up to my mind without showing any ounce of nervousness/doubt and it works every single time

After every interview, write down everything they asked you, everything you said and everything you wished you had said. After 3 or 4 of these, you will have a data bank of every question you will ever be asked and your ideal responses.

Everyone that said be cool to the admin people, they will be your lifeline, our assistant at work could get just about everything taken care of. I was having an issue with another woman at work, she told me who to email, she proof read the email for me, it was sent off. Problem was solved within the hour. She was giggly when she commented to me about the issue being fixed promptly. When I questioned her about the silliness she told me that the woman I had a problem with and the woman I had to complain to, hated each other. My complaint, that was necessary to be fair, added fuel to that fire

Be yourself - asking questions (not about salary in the first instance but hear me out) the culture of the workplace, routes of progression, development etc always go down well and show ambition. Asking about salary appears negative (obviously if no salary is advertised this is valid). If you already have similar experience in the role you’re applying for and they hit you with the “what salary are you looking for?” Always say you’re on 2-3k more than what you’re on, you’ll more likely end up with a payrise. I was hired at my current role based on personality - I just didn’t have experience with SAP but had 10 years experience doing the role I applied for. I was hired because my previous manager advised I was the perfect fit for the office dynamic people wise and it definitely paid off. Most interviews are also a fair bit informal nowadays - but being yourself is the most important. Grades mean nothing and nobody ever checks them - 9 times out of 10 you can blag your way with experience on excel etc and just learn as you go from others. Ultimately, showing you really want the job comes across more positive. which seems backwards when none of us would want a job but need money😂) finally, if they say “we’re a family” fucking run😂

Answer with a funny joke, two times is okay. Be natural and show that you don’t care and know your value. Now I mean it takes a bit of confidence, never be arrogant. That confidence comes with life experience, if you have none, go outside and learn how to interact with people first.

Slide 8 point #7 secured me my latest position. People nowadays don’t show that they’ve paid attention to the projects expected in the role and so by reinforcing that in a thank you email sealed the deal for them on choosing me vs. someone else.

Holy yap,if a company has such ridiculous interviews then they clearly not lack people. If you want to get a job easy,then pick a field not everyone wants. I got rejected 50 times in a row for a cashier job for minimum wage yet I get hired on the same day I apply for any labour work with double the salary too. Just dont follow trends and ur set.

Tips from a recruiter who wants you to spot redflags bcs I believe it is fair that they need to impress us too about their company: 1. Ask them questions about their company and work environment 2. Ask about KPIs if there is any 3. Most important: Dont be shy to correct them too esp if they downplay your reason for leaving, gap days/months/years, salary negotiation. Sometimes, we get too busy impressing them that we fail to see that they are not worth the shot. Esp very lengthy and unnecessary steps!

my tips are... treat an interview like you are really excited to get to know about the interviewers and company. cuz yea we also wanna know whether the company is a good fit or not. when I do this, I became less nervous and think of it as a quick date🥰
