@progressivemaryland: Enough is enough. We are urging the Maryland Public Service Commission to reject BGE’s proposed $156.1 million rate hike that could add another $8 a month to electric bills while increasing the utility’s profit rate to 10.4%. Maryland families are already paying too much for energy. We need the PSC to put ratepayers first, rein in wasteful spending, and reject another increase that asks working families to pay more while BGE profits more. Our message ahead of the hearing was simple: no more rate hikes.
