I’ve seen enough of people with dementia to think she definitely has it. Instead of confusing her further with all the questioning, they should have sent her to the hospital to determine whether she’s having some kind of episode or maybe did drink. I don’t think she’s just drunk, however plus at 85, she’s fragile and rough handling was unnecessary imo.

85 years old and they treat her like that. Those cops should be ashamed. She’s probably got memory issues and can’t find her way home. She was also attempting to get out of the car and wasn’t trying to assault the officer

She needs the hospital not jail. But her saying she’s a grandmother like it’s gonna get her out of that situation is crazy. I’m a great grandmother and will never act like this. But I am hoping there’s a reason she is being like this.

The handcuffs aren’t built for comfort. They hurt. I’ve had them on several times and especially from the 80’s where the cops give you one chance to comply or get in the car and if you don’t that’s when batting practice begins.

I think she stole the car keys and left the house and wasn't supposed to be driving cuz that's why she doesn't have a phone. so I'm just making a guess. she is altered in many ways. should not ever be driving and hope she loses her license over this. if she even has one. I think she's got like dementia. and she is very confused
