Bear in mind that Christianity is different from the religion of Jesus. Christianity was invented by Paul years later after Jesus was gone. The Quran does not agree with Christianity but agree 100% with the religion of Jesus.

I say this with sincere respect for Christians, reading the Qur’an, I clearly understand who everyone is and what position they hold,GOD is GOD, Jesus is the Messiah and a messenger, and Muhammad is a messenger. But when it comes to the Trinity or the claim that Jesus is GOD, I cannot find Jesus plainly saying, “I am GOD, worship me,” “I am dying for your sins,” or clearly explaining, “GOD is three persons in one being.” Instead, I have to combine different verses and depend on someone’s interpretation to reach doctrines that are supposedly essential for my salvation. Christians can certainly point to verses they believe support these doctrines, but that leaves me with a sincere question, if my eternal salvation depends on believing something, wouldn’t a just GOD make it unmistakably clear so that I can knowingly accept or reject it? GOD gave me a rational mind to seek truth. If something is essential for salvation, I would expect it to be among the clearest teachings of revelation, not something I can only reach after someone else interprets unclear passages for me.

I would argue that the older texts in Christianity, before they were changed, actually view Muhammad ﷺ as a prophet of God. His description was mentioned and so was his name (Ahmed). It was Muhammad’s ﷺ wife Khadijah’s cousin, who was a Christian priest that confirmed he was the prophet sent after Jesus.

Facts :
Quran call Jews & Christians - people of the book. Means, they were once handed devine scriptures (later edited by themselves). Anyways, you are doing great, clear, unbiased explanations 🫡. And just to remind that Muslims in general do understand the Christian standing, that's why you don't see them disrespecting the Bible or other scriptures (like burning the Quran), and on social media also you don't see they disrespecting Christianity - they don't agree with it, that's different, arguments, debates, on the other hand you see so much hateful content against Islam, disrespecting the scripture openly, women being ridiculed, hijabs pulled and mainly fake & lie based content against Islam. Brought this up to just explain the point that Muslims don't do this because they have one sided (in general) understanding of the 'common' ground you are talking about.

Also, with all the love in my heart, you’re still very, very early in the Quran, and you’re doing such a beautiful job. My only concern and hope is that whatever hate you’re receiving doesn’t change the tone or direction of your research. The fact that you feel the need to disclaim so much is honestly heartbreaking. You’re doing amazing. We love to be understood, and that’s what you’ve given us🤍🤍🤍

let's ask the question, did Christianity teach that Jesus peace be upon him is God or is it someone's view? wouldnt the Bible be full of clear versus where Jesus peace be upon him says 'i am God' coz if it was clear then there wouldn't be any confusion among the Christians about it

Islam does not accept the concepts of inheriting sins, the incarnation of God, the crucifixion, and atonement, in addition to the Trinity.

Christianity came before Islam so of course it doesn’t talk about Quran ! However, Ahmed Deedat argued that the Bible contains prophecies pointing to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, especially in two main passages: 1. Deuteronomy 18:18 — “a prophet like Moses” : “I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and I will put my words in his mouth…”

There is a fundamental difference in the nature of Christ between Christians and Muslims. But what is more important than debating the nature of Christ is discipline and commitment to Christ's message to us and to how we should treat one another. Unfortunately, people focus on minor differences, even though the foundation is the same and accepted by all. Sadly, this is human nature: always drawn to creating problems, distinguishing ourselves, and displaying arrogance.

Masha Allah, you are doing very well sister, and you will discover more truth in Islam along the way as you progress from verse to verse and from one surah to another, and by the end of the entire quran, you will discover your own answer to the ones you questioned earlier, because, when God (Allah) chooses someone that He likes, He will shine her or him with light in her or his heart and face. Insha Allah, God willing, you will receive that shining light of Islam and live with it forever in this world and the hereafter, ameeen.

Interesting world :
One thought I’d love to add to this journey of exploring the Quran: Muslim scholars have long seen passages in the Biblical tradition as indications of a prophet who would come after Moses. Deuteronomy 18:18, for example, speaks of a prophet who would be “like Moses,” and Muslims see meaningful parallels with Muhammad ﷺ—both had a mother and father, received revelation through Jibril, established communities, and brought guidance and law to their people. Muslims also understand references to the Holy Spirit differently, seeing Jibril as the angel who brought revelation to God’s prophets. I know your goal isn’t to erase the differences between our traditions, but to understand them well enough that those differences don’t prevent us from loving and respecting one another. I think that’s a beautiful goal. So perhaps this is simply another perspective worth exploring—not as an attempt to tell Christians or Jews how they should interpret their own scriptures, but to show how Muslims have understood these passages for centuries. Sometimes understanding why another person sees a passage differently is just as valuable as discovering that we agree.
