I have BCBS of AL under Teachers Retirement System and they don’t cover lactation services. They will pay for a breast pump and bags but not actual help with nursing, lactation and all the things.

You can’t tell me this isn’t to push formula because sales have gone down since breastfeeding has become so popular again. I hate these greedy companies.

Does this also apply to exclusively pumping moms also? I’m an under supplier, takes me all day with a pump to get 6-8oz of breast milk. Babe won’t nurse at breast due to lack of flow/milk storage capacity so we’ve been feeding formula since day 1, he’s 32 days old.
