I've been with my husband for 17 years and he will be home soon thank God but one thing I've never got used to with when they go to the shu but I will say sometimes they go and it isn't it isn't even their fault sometimes it's stupid stuff when they get in there but I'm sorry you have to go through that but just I hate to say it kind of get used to it and find a way there's never really a way to make your mind not race and wonder like are they okay but that's definitely not easy it's definitely a hard one

from experience my husband went to the shoe a lot some of it was his fault for fighting some of it was they raided his locker and he had too much commissary or too many pictures it just depends on the facility that they're in mine was in a state facility Florida at that so it just all depends on the facility he could have too many pictures he can have to like a pen or whatever too many of those you can have too much commissary in his locker like if you're only allowed through honey buns and he's got four they'll put you in the shoe for that like they find all sorts of reason to put somebody in the shoe. sometimes it could be somebody tried to try him and he defended himself that could be the cause not saying it is but they also do it for that even if you're just offending yourself they put you in the shoe

Im a former CO now prison wife i always worked shu they mostly be calm or talking to each other through the doors i played thinking games with my shu pod its nothing like yall see on TV you can’t be smoke call the captain or supervisor to check on your loved one

Mine was in the shu suppose to be 6 months but i fought for his charges to be dropped so they shipped him out to the yard 4.5 months in. Its hard asf sis. We went from talking all day everyday to not talk or see eachother everyday. He would talk through the bowl & have people call me to checc on me but sis keep them letters coming! Thats all they can get they cant even get commissary. Keep his mind busy sis. Keep money on his books he can get stamps etc but not food etc if all of them run the same. You gonna go through all this emotions its gone be hard but i am here for you if you need ! Stay strong because he needs to feel your strength.

We just went through this and it is awful. It is the worst place they can be in a prison mentally and physically. Keep your heads up and remember that he may also not know his violation yet. He knows why he went but maybe not what they will violate him for and the time he will get will be based on what the violation is. Don’t blame him though until you know cause they will be petty and he may have done something so small and a CO had a bad day. Also when mine goes to the shu is when he tries to protect me and he will withdraw… this is the part where we women need each other most! DM if you need to talk!

I know all camps are different but my man’s camp told me why he’s in the box waiting for DR court, I called that prison fast af to speak to his classification officers. I went crazy the first two weeks…. Emotions have been up and down because when they get transferred you both don’t know where they going till they get there. I’m still waiting to see how far away he’s getting transferred….. worse experience ever…. You’re not alone boo, stay strong…

I remember the first time , it was the worst time . They don't tell you , and my ex lied why he was even in there . We made a promise that I wouldn't have to experience that but he broke that promise. But I remember my emotions the were all over the place but my ADVICE IS STAY BUSY!! CONTENT CREATE ! I'm in a new relationship and he is a incarcerated as well . But when I pivoted my focus during those times I started experiencing a new me! It really opened a lot of door making content . Just stay busy my best advice everything your feeling is exact . & yes write letters! Go back to what makes you happy regardless of the incarceration hope that's makes sense too . ❤️
