As a daycare teacher it also helps when people people keep their sick kids home or actually treat their kids to get better. But all we always hear is that it’s teething, teething is the excuse for EVERYTHING!!!!!

I cannot explain the anxiety I feel when I drop or pick my kid at daycare and see another classmate looking like this. 😳😂 I start counting my days left with health.

My daughter started daycare 13 weeks ago, she's been ill every week. One week she had 3 viruses at once, ended up in hospital with pneumonia and then the week after caught hand foot and mouth. I am not okay 😵💫, when does it end!

My daughter just started pre-k and her teacher makes every kid wash their hands as soon as they get in the room. My daughter also got taught by her teacher the “chicken wing” method of sneezing and coughing. I’ve been trying to teach her to use her elbow for the past two years and for some reason calling it a “chicken wing” stuck with her 😭😭 I’m so grateful for her teacher fr. No sickness yet!

In 5 SECONDS First toddler sneezes, coughs, drools or simply puts their hands in their mouth or nose. They touch a toy. Second toddler touches the toy then puts their hands in mouth, nose, eyes… IT HAPPENS that FAST.

We toured a daycare a month ago. Immediate runny nose turned sinus infection and tonsillitis. We were there 15 min with no kids present 😳 first sickness so I know that’s the reason lol

The first 6 months I worked at a daycare, I was consistently sick. I haven’t worked there since 2012 and I rarely get sick now 🤷🏼♀️

It sucks because as a former daycare teacher if your sick from one of the kids getting you sick. You STILL are expected to come in so it keeps going around 😩

The comments of everyone babies getting sick within days of being there is crazy how much everyone’s little get sick from other that aren’t staying home or stuff not being cleaned 😭 I’m thankful I’m able to be with my kids

The kids I babysit started school and daycare about 2 weeks ago and this week on the littlest ones sign out sheet at daycare there was a note saying “your child has been exposed to hand, foot, and mouth”😳 I was like already we just started going again! I was sanitizing and washing hands religiously this week

Our first 2 weeks we caught covid. It was great 🤣 he’s 4 now and pretty immune to everything but damn I’m the one that gets sick from whatever cooties he brings home.

I swear schools and daycares put something in their air vents that make everyone constantly get sick. Could be mold in the vents but kids are always sick during the school year then fine over summer so there’s got to be something in these buildings making these kids sick all the time.

Yeah my now 9 year old stayed sick the first year into daycare. Now she gets sick MAYBE once a year if that. And it’s usually the flu from cheer comps 😂
