Donkey Amere from Shrek is dancing to Dancing In The Dark by Rihanna in this video by @tungtungtungamere, and it has the perfect mix of Shrek nostalgia, smooth pop energy, and chaotic character remix humor. Donkey is already one of the most recognizable Shrek characters, so turning him into Donkey Amere and giving him a Rihanna dance moment makes the whole edit feel funny, catchy, and instantly made for TikTok. What makes this work is the vibe switch. Dancing In The Dark has that bright, dance-pop soundtrack energy, while Donkey brings loud, goofy, lovable chaos to everything he touches. The contrast makes the animation feel weirdly smooth and hilarious at the same time, like a Shrek side character suddenly became the star of a music video. Use this CapCut template for green screen jokes, Shrek memes, reaction edits, or any post where you want a familiar character to bring unexpected dance energy. It works especially well for nostalgic cartoon edits, Rihanna sound memes, Donkey Amere remixes, and “why does this go so hard?” posts.
