The closer I get to God the more whimsy I am. He’s in all the details. If I go get a donut with sprinkles I talk to God about it. Mind you I’ve been a Christian my whole life. I’m 30, experienced traumas but I’ll still decorate my Bible, get cute highlighters, buy Christian home decor. Yes Jesus is our savior and we should have reverential feel but he’s also such a good friend, funny and whimsyyyy!

It’s okay to be happy no one said that you can’t , I think we should be mindful to be fearful of the lord even in the way we praise him or show thanks. it makes Jesus seem soft rather than a loving savior who endured suffering for us. This is suppose to be serious.

To be fair, the bible says you can’t speak on something you don’t know anything about & she seems to be a very devoted and fearful of God, It’s not bad to be joyful but we need to be more serious about God and i’m pretty sure that’s the message she gave. We are genuinely losing the plot, our biggest goal should always be salvation and helping spread the gospel it’s easy to be lost in unnecessary social media trends and live life “freely” When we should be focused on the bigger picture because God is coming!!’

I think it’s bc she’s talking about more mature Christian. The Bible specifically mentions when you were baby Christians you drank milk but eventually you mature to solid foods. She’s talking to the solid food Christians. This is obviously a message for solid food Christians. Those who have ears let them hear.

It’s actually really bad for your health to be miserable all the time. It God wanted us to be miserable all the time then why would stress effect us so badly? Suffering is apart of life but joy is one of the fruits of the spirit.

I truly believe life with Jesus is actually supposed to be more fun. Not in a way where we do whatever we want and are not being fearful of Him. But life with Jesus brings joy and peace. Life with Jesus is not perfect but it takes you places you could never imagine like it’s literally an adventure.
